Gloria EnderGloria Ender

Gloria Ender is owner and Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Finishing, an electro and powder coating business with an international customer base. With her husband Eric, they started the business in 1988 and have expanded several times. Today, Freedom Finishing produces 300,000 parts per day in its 60,000 square feet production facility located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Freedom Finishing’s customer base includes General Motors, Ford, Whirlpool Corporation and Herman Miller.

Ender was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and worked as an elementary bi-lingual teacher before starting Freedom Finishing.

Ender serves on the Boards of the Southwest Michigan Tri-County Manufacturing Coalition, Lake Michigan College Foundation, The Women’s Business Center Advisory Council, Business Alliance Support Group, Berrien Community Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor. She has served on the Lake Michigan College Winner’s Circle Benefit Auction Executive Committee since 2004.

Ender, a gourmet cook, lives in Stevensville, Michigan, with her husband and four rescue dogs. She has a daughter, Liz, who is attending Lake Michigan College.
