According to Michigan's Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives, Southwest Michigan continues to record lower jobless rates in September than adjusted statewide rate of 6.7%.


Michigan's Workers' Compensation Pure Premium Advisory Rate for WC Insurance Decreases 28% from 2011-2014

The Workers' Compensation Agency recently announced the pure premium advisory rate for workers' compensation insurance will drop by an average of 6.5% in 2015. Based upon the latest comparison data, Michigan's cumulative pure premium decrease of 22.7% from 2011-2014 is the best in the Midwest and second best in the nation.  Interesting to note that the national average rose 10.8%.
