Joseph W. (Bill) Hanley
Bill Hanley is the President and CEO of Vail Rubber Works, Inc. and will be retiring in April 2020 after 40 years with Vail Rubber. Prior to serving as President/CEO, Bill was Vail’s Controller for 9 years and before that worked at Herkner, Smits, Miskill and Merrifield CPA’s, a predecessor to Plante Moran. Bill will continue to serve on Vail Rubber’s Board of Directors following his retirement in April.
Over the years Bill has been a member of a number of local Boards including Riverwood, St. Joe Public Schools Foundation, The Heritage Museum, Krasl Art Center, Lakeland Foundation and Michigan’s Great Southwest Strategic Leadership Council.
Bill received a BA in accounting and an MBA in finance, both from Michigan State University. He resides in St. Joe with his wife Kathy.
