Christina Frank, CEcD, was appointed Interim President on June 18, 2024, after Rob Cleveland stepped down as CEO and President. Frank will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including staffing, project management, investor relations, and interactions with community leaders.
Frank joined Cornerstone Alliance in September, 2016 as the Director, Investor Relations. In August of 2018, Christina moved into the Vice President of External Affairs role and began oversight of the Marketing and Communications efforts for Cornerstone Alliance.
Christina drives the fundraising initiatives for Cornerstone Alliance through integrated and targeted marketing campaigns creating awareness of the Cornerstone Alliance mission and benefits of supporting economic development outcomes. She is also responsible for development, implementation, and performance tracking of comprehensive communications and public relations strategies that enhance the organization’s image and appropriately position the community within the economic development marketplace. She has spent her career helping Berrien County residents build better relationships, find better jobs, and improve their quality of life.
She holds a professional certification of economic development from the University of Oklahoma, a certificate in non-profit leadership from the University of Notre Dame, and a bachelor’s degree from Sienna Heights. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a lifetime member of the International Society of Female Professionals, a member of the Michigan Economic Development Association, and a member of the International Economic Development Council.
Most recently, she earned the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) by the International Economic Development Council – she is only the 45th person in the state of MI ever to do so…and out of 45, one of only 17 women in the State of MI to hold this certification.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Alliance, Christina was the Executive Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass, Inc. for seven years.
Christina lives in St. Joseph with her son.
